If you answered yes to most of these questions, Case Closed Surety would like an opportunity to discuss an appointment and contract for retaining your talent. We are currently recruiting agents for coverage in the Research Triangle market and we’re considering talent from agents with experience and first time licensees seeking a supervisor.

There are a few prerequisites for obtaining a bail agent’s license. Among others, you must be at least 21 and not have been convicted of a felony or crimes involving moral turpitude. You also must successfully complete the pre-licensing class and pass the 100 question state examination. To get more detailed information about the pre-licensing class schedule, registration and costs visit the North Carolina Bail Agent’s Association and review the Steps To Getting Licensed. Once the class is completed you will need to contact the regulatory agency for bail bondsmen, The North Carolina Department of Insurance to schedule your state exam and background check. Upon successful completion of all of these steps your license will be issued.
